- Led "Convio + Facebook = Awesome" panel at the Convio Client Summit in 2010.
- Led "Games for Good" panel at South by Southwest Interactive in 2009.
- Awarded the Convio Star Award for Innovation & Learning in 2010.
- Coordinated network of more than 200,000 high school and college student activists.
- Oversaw online marketing for youth program, including web content development, action alert creation, and email campaigns through the GetActive CRM platform.
- Managed internal use of custom-built ColdFusion application used for activist coordination, and drafted business requirements for replacement system developed in DotNetNuke.
- Responsible for development of early social media presence, reaching 4 million friends on MySpace by 2007.
- Launched the peta2 blog in 2004 using MovableType platform, and served as the primary contributor through 2007.
- Developed TwitStream, a jQuery plugin that uses the Twitter Search API to display a list of recent tweets related to a particular keyword or hashtag, years before the official Twitter widget was released. TwitStream was featured on SitePoint, and has been downloaded thousands of times from its Google Code repository. Recently moved repository from Google to Git.
- Created the now-deprecated TweetAtCongress, an API that provided information about members of Congress on Twitter. The API was built using PHP and MySQL.
- Created a single-serving web site that received over 2 million unique visits in under 2 months, with nearly 10,000 Likes on Facebook, after being featured on BuzzFeed.com. No small feat considering that the web site is just a few photos of sloths.
- Participated in the Knowbility Accessibility Internet Relay (AIR) in 2008 and 2009, a one-day code-a-thon where developers donate their time to build web sites for non-profits, with a focus on accessibility. Won third place in 2008, and first place in 2009. Sites were built using Joomla! and Drupal content management systems.
